My name is Jonathan Straight. I am a Yorkshire-based photographic artist. I have been commissioned by Wakefield Museums and Castles to provide a body of work that is currently being shown in the South Elmsall museum hub which is based in the local library. The artwork interprets local stories and consists of video, photography and objects.

Additional images, films and stories are available on this website and more will be added as and when new material comes to light.

I would still like to hear from residents past and present of South Elmsall, South Kirkby or Hemsworth (and the immediate environs) with stories to tell. These can be about anything although some themes are of particular interest.
